Harmony
Owner and competition director, Miss Harmony, was an Oakland Raiderette for the 2005 and 2006 seasons! It was her dream since she was a little girl to cheer for the best football team in the NFL, The Raiders! Like Miss Harmony always says, "Dreams Do Come True". Now, Miss Harmony dedicates her time teaching the next generation of professional dancers at the studio!
After graduating high school, Miss Taylor was selected as an Oakland Raiderette! During her 5 seasons cheering for the Raiders, she had the honor of performing internationally, becoming captain, and being a part of the LAST team in Oakland. Following her time with the Raiders, Taylor pursued her passion for teaching, becoming an elementary school teacher and returned to her roots at Dance Stars, where she shares her love for dance by teaching both recreational and competitive teams. Miss Taylor’s dedication to her students and her enthusiasm for choreographing are an inspiration to all! Her hard work, joy and leadership continue to leave a lasting impact on everyone around her!
Our very own, Miss Jonni, has an impressive dance resume! For several seasons, she cheered for the Oakland Raiderettes, earning many honors within the organization. From being captain of her lines, cheering around the world and earning the titles of Rookie Of The Year AND Raiderette Of The Year (Cheering in the Pro Bowl!), she has become a known face within the dance world. Before moving away from her home in California, Jonni choreographed for Dance Stars competitive teams, taught locally, and coached the UC Berkeley Dance Team! Now in Florida, Jonni is the Head Coach of the University of Miami Dance Team! She also continues to choreograph for some of the biggest teams in the NFL! We always welcome back Jonni for yearly classes and visits at her home studio!
Angel just finished her 4th season as a Golden State Warrior Dancer and this year could not have been more exciting for her! She was chosen as Captain of the dance squad and the Warriors fought their way and winning the NBA Championship! We loved watching Angel dance her heart out and cheer for her winning team!
Althea was honored to make it for her third season with the Oakland Raiderettes where she was chosen Co-Captain of her line! This year has been special for her because she got to go to London with the Raider organization and cheer from the sidelines with her teammates. This is one of her most favorite moments so far as being apart of Footballs Fabulous Females!
Jessica ended her 4th season as an Oakland Raiderette by being captain of Line 3. She has had 4 amazing seasons with the team and is enjoying her new role of mother of two to her adorable children! We cannot wait to see what the rest of her future holds for her and her family!
Maggie has had such an exciting dance career so far. Once she turned 18 she was hired as Snow White and moved to France to work for Disneyland Paris! Once her contract was up with Disney she moved back home and auditioned for the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Team. She has made the 2010-2011 team and we are so excited that Maggie is continuing her dance career and trying different jobs in the dance world. We look forward to hearing more about her future endeavors.
Miss Michelle started out as a DCS student and has moved up to a full time dance teacher; teaching Ballet, Creative Movement, Lyrical, and Pointe. Michelle was on the 49er Goldrush Cheerleader Team in 2009 and even had the privilege of performing in Universal Studios Japan. Miss Michelle now shares her love of dance with her two children, one of which is an aspiring dancer on our Dance Stars Competition Team!
