Jonni Hello fellow DCS*! It is so great to be back for my 9th year of dancing here at
the studio. Each years that passes only brings more exciting things to the dance floor, and this year is no exception. I am proud to say I will be helping with the competition dance team this year as Co-director, alongside Ms. Harmony*! Along with the competition team I will be teaching all the jazz/technique/ and lyrical classes for your children. Since dancing and teaching here at DCS, many opportunities have drifted my way. I have received numerous amounts of dance scholarships and awards from several competitions. Such as: Dancer of the Year 2005 (DCS), Dancer of the Year 2008 at Rainbow Connection, Hollywood Vibe dance scholarship 3 consecutive years, Team Rave for Dance years, and many others. In 2005 DCS competition team was even invited to perform on the world famous Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship "Monarch of the Sea". These accomplishments have helped me tremendously in the dance world. I previously dance for the professional indoor soccer team, The California Cougars Dance Team, and was awarded Captain during my 2nd season. As of right now I am in my 4th season with Football's Fabulous Females, The Oakland Raiderettes. While working for the Raiders I have received Rookie of the Year in 2008, Co-captain in 2009, and now for my 4th year will be earning for 4th year ring. Every experience dancing/working for professional dance teams has taught me a lot and have pushed me to do BIG things. My greatest accomplishment to date was last October when I auditioned for the Hit Tv show, "So You Think You Can Dance". There I made it past the grueling audition process and found myself with a ticket to Viva Las Vegas with some of the best dancers in the country! I am proud to say I made the top 150 dancers in the United States. I cannot wait to see what this year of dance brings and am completely pumped for it to begin. Let's do work! :)
